    Recordings to VMIB through a cable...

    There is a way to get much better sound quality and its easier. Set pgm 171 to external and When you go to record your prompt eg 001 press * before the # key and it will record through the external MOH port which u can plug any music source into, laptop, mp3 etc.

    If you have defaulted the database you just need to add the stations into the ring assignment in pgm 144 and put the lines that your not using in the last group in pgm 141

    you can have a max of 132 ports in cab one and 132 ports in cab two but only 96 in cab three. you will also need to have the expansion chip for the MPBSN, you should also only have one MBPSN in the bottom cab the second one just has expansion cards with the link cards as well of course.     Now that you have changed the lines you will need to set those new lines to DISA in pgm 140 and send it to the voice message number your using in the CCR menu eg:01 once this is on it should work fine.
