Hi there,
Can somebody guide me through how to integrate Polycom video endpoints to Communication Manager through ISDN BRI. We are using the BRI card TN556D, wirings are pretty much working.
I need the step by step things to configure in the CM side and the which extension I need to configure...
The IP phones register to the S8300 not in G700. S8300 can supports up to maximum of 450 endpoints. One G700 has a built-in VOIP resources of 64 (G.711).

Check the following:
a. status of aes interface, link and cti in the Communcation Manager
b. status cti-link no.
And in the AES check to see if the CVLAN service is running and also the switch connection interface.
Hope this may help.
You might have missed configuration on the IP trunk and in the route pattern. The 'Extension 00000 is not available' because you're not sending the correct number through the IP trunk.
What is the application that is using the adjunt link? The CMS has nothing to do with the adjunct routing anyway.
You can check on the CM who is using the CTI link "list cti"

Hi,
I was tasked to configure CMS remote access for licensing however I can no longer login when I did the following procedures:
/cms/install/bin/abcadm -r ttyb
/cms/install/bin/abcadm -i -b 9600 ttyb
/cms/install/bin/abcadm -c -b 9600 ttyb then the system rebooted.
After that I cannot...
There will be no failover since the S8500 has only one control network and you can only set 1 IPSI to S8500 so there is no sense installing dual IPSI. You're right it will be a spare board.
Thanks,
mwooks
I found out that in CM 4 there is new command "change button-restriction" wherein the AD re-labeling is restricted by default. Remove AD from the list and you will be able to esit button labels.
Cheers!
