Hi,
I have migrated an exchange 2003 infrastructure to new virtual servers and new exchange servers (still 2003). There is a plan in place to do a 2003 - 2010 upgrade later this year. I have an issue though, I have used pfmigrate to replicate and re-home the public folders, when I dismount the...
Hi,
We have a 2 node cluster with RDS Connection Broker. this has been added as a generic service and not specifically as the connection broker. We have been having some issues and I wanted to remove the generic service and add back in as a specific app.
I can remove the generic service, but...
Hi,
I have a client with 8 Remote Desktop servers with clustered connection broker and TS gateway.
This works fine mot of the time, but we are having a weird issue with some users who are doing a copy/paste, the sessions displays the clipboard, but only the top half of it.

The first question is harder to answer, there will be an inherited permission from somewhere up the chain, you just need to find it.
The second question is easier, if you don't have premissions on a file or folder, then you will not be able to see it. This was a new feature in 2008 Server.
Hi,
There is no need to instal CALS anywhere whith SBS2008 or 2011, it's taken on trust, although MS have reserved the right to change this in the future.

Cost is around £380

Can you connect to the mailbox using OWA on the server and on the PC's ?
If you have Outlook on the server, does this work?
%computername% will give you the name of the computer you are on with.
To make this a bit more difficult. We only want to give access to CD's for some users, so the RDP client brings nothing across with it.
hence the reason for doing this with a script/GPO
There are many pros and cons to on-site versus cloud.
My own personal take on this is that as long as comms remain as unreliable as they are then on-site will always be my preference.
in the UK at least, the main business comms line is ADSL/SDSL and with the reliability BT offers never mind...
Hi,
The short answer is yes you can, however there are some things you need to consider.
Remote site: how fast and reliable is the connection to your main site, how do they access apps etc, is it all over TS?
What are you going to do with your apps and TS box?
do the users on the main site...
Hi,

First thing to do is go into server manager and check the roles and...
