Hi all
I've got an issue exactly the same as thread940-1649508
Was there ever any resolution to it?
HSM, Did SS/Avaya ever come back with anything?
Cheers
It says that "some of the licensing can stay on the IP500" and also "the licenses cannot bearded to the central pool"
The way I read that is that if you have licenses on an IP500 and bring it into a SE solution then the licensing is only available on that unit.
I would have thought the same...
tlpeter, the way I have had it explained to me is that if you want your handsets to be registered to an expansion system then that system needs to be licensed accordingly.
In this scenario I would have thought the additional 5 licenses should be on the IP500, this would give them the 17...
The way I understand SE licencing is that you needed to licence whichever system your handsets are going to register to.
So if you wanted all 17 handsets to register to the IP500 that would need to have enough licences to cater for those 17 handsets.
If you then use the primary server as a...
I have had this.
9630 with 3xSBM24 on IP500v2 running 8.1.63
Was all working fine, customer moved the phone and add on modules from the training room to reception on the weekend before go live and all DSS keys on SBM24 were blank (but still worked) once moved.
When I came in Monday morning the...
Just a bit of a heads up really
I installed an IP500v2 on 8.0.43 using embedded voicemail yesterday and created a shortcode like I have always done (*99, voicemailcollect, "?Anonymous") but when I dialled the shortcode it kept returning "remote access is not configured from this mailbox"
To...
Worked for me.
Upgrading from IP Office 7.0 to 8.0 within the 90–Day Entitlement
Window
This Technical Tip is to advise customers of an issue when newly installed IP Office
release 7.0 systems are upgraded to release 8.0 within the 90-day entitlement window.
When the system has been upgraded to...
Your title says no VM Pro so I take it you do actually have voicemail?
If your running Manager 6.2 then I assume you've got either a IP406 v2 or an IP500 v1.
Both of these will have a compact flash card installed to use embedded voicemail.
Does the voicemail respond if you dial *17 off the...
If you have system status just go to active calls and make a call in from say your mobile, highlight your call and select call details button at the bottom of the screen. In there on of the lines at the top should say did digits (or something along those lines) and it will show you the digits...
I get this on new circuits that have been stage 1 tested and are waiting to be brought in to service.
The x21 light normally flashes as well as the sync light on the ipo, once brought into service all go out.
I had recently with new wlr3 lines where they brought it into service without having...
I believe that within the folder containing the bin files there should also be a file called bin.cfg
I think this is used by the system to know which files are to be used by which modules.
Hmmm, always handy.
All the problems I've had are usually network related, permissions on the folder etc, doesn't explain it not working on the server though.
Have you set up the gatway stuff in the adaptive management console?
Have you created users in the AMC?
What os is the adaptive...
Never used the call recording but have installed adaptive desktop on a few sites.
Usually just map a network drive to the AMData folder on the adaptive server machine, browse to it, go into the software folder (I think) and install the desktop software.
During install it will ask for the...
I have had a phone where pressing
1 did 1, 2 did 1, 3 did 2,
4 did 4, 5 did 4, 6 did 5 etc
Was the only phone onsite that had this problem so assumed it was a faulty handset and had it replaced.
Help menu is *4 on embedded Vmail.
Try that if nothing plays then it doesn't have the prompt for that file. I have had this many times on installs and upgrading the prompts using the send commands through the cmd line has always fixed it.
