Can the administrator access these tables to add or remove dn's from say an administration group, so the dn can be used elsewhere or is this question a little simplistic? As I said I know a little, but not a whole lot.
Hope for some direction. I don't know a lot about this system. Something about mapping in call pilot, eg Admin dn 854 belongs to Mary. Mary leaves and her dn 854 is given to john in no particular dept (eg a summer student). Attendant goes into call pilot admin and changes the mailbox. John gets...

Upgrading a 15 year old toshiba system.3 lines 10 sets. Cics 6x16 would seem to be a good fit.
Since Avaya has taken over,is it true that there are no longer new Cics, only refurb are available?
Button 9 came up call park. I will use f*81. I terminated the trunks
after startup (only 2 for now -getting 2 more) then plugged the sets in
and that's the way the T7316e came up button 9(call park),button 10 (line 2)
button 11(line 1).I was expecting the T7316e would come up button 9 (Line 1)...
Thanks a few things to check. It was a brand new set on a refurn cics with 7.1. Startup was done, lines were added
and sets plugged in. That is how T7316e came up as default. All the other sets wete T7208's and came up fine.
Maybe try another T7316e and see what happens to that.
I have a T7316e set. Has 3 buttons under dial pad & label says it's a t7316e, but when it's on the system stn 21
line 1 is on 3rd key, line 2 is on 3rd key. System is a cics 7.1. It's seems like a T7316, but I thought that
on the T7316 the lines started on 4th key. Not sure what happening
Incoming calls transfers right to greeting 3 ccr tree 2.Not being really up on cp. Where is the determination made
whether the line rings in order to be picked up or goes immediately to the ccr.
The Greeting Table 2 in records show

AFTERNOON GREETING 2 CCR TREE 1...
By direct pick up I mean that you pick up the handset and you get dialtone from the first free line in the pool without pressing any line keys. With the fourth line being also used for a fax it was always getting picked up 1st, so as multimedium stated I could change the jumpering on the trunk...
Have lines 1-4 in line pool A. Dial 9 access. 4th line used by fax from ata. I want to change
the lines to direct pick up, however it will start with line 4. By putting lines
1-3 in line pool A for direct pickup and line 4 in pool B for direct pickup. Is there a way
to hunt to pool B if all...
