I'm new to BCM, I'm use it to learn from. I can connect to the BCM with telnet 10.10.10.1. Hardware profile tells me I have a BCM Rls ID 2.03, Version 2.05, I'm using 1.1-EE-WVMN-config. This BCM has a 8.4 MB hard drive and has 255 MB Ram. It also has a directory D:/BCM 2.5. Is this a BCM 2.5 ? I need to access the browser to finish initializing the system. Connect, Diagnostics, MSC, Click on Configuration, System Startup, Region. When I check System Status Monitor (telnet) it gives me an error "Can't open PCI's Registry" Does this have anything to do with it? Configuration Wizard (telnet) sez error: opening key 'Software\JavaSoft\Java Runtime';error: could not find java.dll;error: could not find Java2 Runtime Environment. How do I use regedit via a telnet connection, I can't use MSDOS editor either. I was able to connect to server/BCM with browser before but not now. Any ideas/answers would be much appreciated. Thanks

You need to set BCM to AUTO with telnet.

Main menu select 1, then I believe it is 1 again.
I think it is then 2 for set to AUTO. go back to main menu and do a restart #8. after reboot you can use IE web
HTTP://10.10.10.1  if that doesn't work than try
HTTP://10.10.10.1:6800
