I have several COW System Errors that have occured these past few days. I can't seem to idenitfy them using the help function or Avaya's web site. The error code is 2800, the exact verage is Cow System Error: PCH = 0 :

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi ,
check the Sun website for that one.. might be solaris being iffy about a procedure.
first thing is to reboot the box once a month, as that will clean up a lot of dead end processes.. and other unpleasant stuff..

MenanceEnnis,
Thank you for your reply I will check out their website. We recently had to replace the server so that very well might be the problem.

The error you are refering to is in fact a Supervisor client error rather than a Server or Solaris error, therefore a trip to SUN support site won't help. The first part of the error message just tells you what CMS application subsystem generated the error the rest of the error message gives the description.

Multibus2,
Thank you for your help. We recently had to replace the card. Once I reconfigured (boot -r)this appeared to take care of the COW errors and I also had to reconfigure the swap file to eliminate the 83 percent disk full.
Again thank you for your help.

Hi,

Could you please tell me what disk you replaced?
I have the same issue on our CMS with the disk full issue
and the COW system Errors. Can you please help?
