I'm trying to create a new hot line on extension 1111 (analog TN 18 06) to call extension 2222 (digital TN 11 02) direct - not my idea; an upper management request.

When I try to add the FTR, I receive the SCH3060 error indicating that the "Class of Service must be MNL"

After adding the CLS of MNL, then try to add the feature, I receive the SCH3088 error indicating that "Conflict with EHTA COS; telephone has either LNA, LLC1, LLC2, MNL, or Permanent Hold features enabled". Am I missing something here?

I've been programming our Option 11C (Release 3.0 +) for about 3 years, so I'm new to the HOT LINE world. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

what the error is saying is that you have EHTA set in the CLS & it needs to be EHTD to have MNL set

Much appreciated although I'm still unable to add the HOT Line.

Adding the CLS of MNL is not a problem; I've actually got that built into the line as:

What I can't do at this point is add the EHTA feature at this point. The SCH3088 code tells me that I can't add it when the MNL CLS exists.

What you need at this point - at the FTR prompt is to add

FTR HOT D 4 2222

this is an example of a working hot dial
