KTX 56K EXTERNAL MODEM FM-103

I have given my old 233Mhz Edge PC to an age pensioner who has knows nothing about computing. He says!! he only wants to use email (how often have you heard that) so I gave him a KTX 56K external modem model FM-03.Unfortunately I cannot be sure if the Power Adapter I gave him is the correct one. Can anyone tell me what the Power requisites for this modem is i.e the voltage and amps. THE SUPPLY HERE IN AUSTRALIA is 240 Volts.
