Homesite 4.5: Cannot setup homesite for a proper upload

guphi (Programmer)

Hello,

I am using the german version of homesite 4.5 and I do not find out the right settings for an upload to the server.
I tried more than several hours without success. The german help function does not really help. My attempts always led to some error conditions.

I don´t tell what I have tried. I simply ask you, what to do.
Starting a new project, what do I have to do in order to upload my files successfully ?

Example:

My local project folder named "myfolder" contains a file named "index.htm" as well as a single subfolder named "subfolder".

I need to upload "index.htm" to the server´s root directory of my domain. My local subfolder has to be uploaded to the server´s root directory too. I do not want to upload my own project folder "myfolder". If I have to do so, how can I put index.htm to the server´s root directory ?

Thanks a lot for your help !

guphi
