Hello

My problem really isn't with the convertion, but it's the output that bugs me. Say I have a 7 page pdf that I go to File | Save As and choose the file type to be tiff. After it converts and saves it, there' 7 seperate files saved for it! It saves each individual page as a seperate file!! Why the heck does it do that??

I can't find anyway to change it either...anyone know how?? I've got Acrobat 5 and 6 so whatever works..

Thanks for any help!

A Tiff file is supposed to be a image file and Adobe thinks that there cannot be a seven page image and so saves so! But my only doubt is how can yo have a seven page image file?

Cheers,

Ravi

Well, all of our electronic faxes are converted to tiff files, so we have thousands of multipage tiff files..

I wish there was a way to change that, it just doesn't make sense to me why they would do that, even if it is an "image" file..

This may not be the best solution. But I did a similar kind of work on combining PDF files:

Group the TIFF files in a directory and programatically combine them to a single file. I think that is quite possible.

Are you sure it is PDF to TIFF and not TIFF to PDF?

Cheers,

Ravi
