I've just inherited a few md110's.... Can find no records or documentation (last guy took them all with him.....) Is there a good source of doco's online?
Any help gratefully received.
"Empowered, embattled, embittered - what am I?"
There is no such thing as free online documentation to MD110 (sorry) .
Ericsson has partners and an intranet the partners can use.
This intranet is restricted to partners with logon and password . And as a partner you pay a yearly fee for this service , as well as being authorized by Ericsson
as a sales/service provider for their products .
So i guess none will give you their company access
through this forum .
The documentation can be ordred by a sales/service provider
on cd's . But it will cost some bucks .
what syar says is correct, however you can download some technical info at affy1997's site. look at lazydog it a small helpfile, containing only the MD110 commands
Alex (Active Library Explorer) is Ericsson's web browser plug in to read the MD110 documentation.
Alex is a small program to install.
Besides the program you need the libraries, de Alex data files which are released on a per Service Pack basis, for example BC11 SP10 or BC12SP2.
Per BC release there is a reference library, which contains more -software/technical- information then the service pack based relelases of alex files.
Both libraries are for sale. So far I have not found them on the net.

I do not know what info you really want, if you are more specific then perhaps I can help. The Ericsson partner site wont help with detailed technical user info, I know I have access. There is lots there but you need to understand the system to use it.
Its Probably true that Damovo will be not over helpful .... but there is plenty of info out and about.
Be more specific and I will see what I can do for you.
e.g. .......what system version is it, info looked for
you get complete documentation and it is free. You can completely download all the programming and configuration manuels. Sometimes you feel it is more than what you need. Most of the nortel docs also available on the web. May be Ericsson do not enough sales to provide one like avaya.
I think, for MD110 you have to contact damovo as suggested above by the veterans. If you like, take an offer and buy it.
I've managed to get our Account Manager to put in a appearence next week. He'll not be allowed to leave the pub without leaving at least a copy of the doco's
It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.
Where are you based, as I think I have some documentation from my days at DAMOVO, where I was made redundant just over a year ago, I am bitter so if I have it you can have it for free, Better than Damovo getting extra money.
I have a lot of the info on CD rom, have you done any programming on the MD?
I got Alex off of DAMOVO for free, depends on your relationship and who you know. When the account manager comes along, ask him to bring a techie, get his or her details and then contact the person direct (obviously don't take the p*ss though by calling them all the time)
You may need to get hold of Ericsson reseller, and order ALEX documentation this on CD and is the font of all MD110 knowledge, Catch is that it costs!!! Good Luck
