Hi All,

I am a beginner of Winnrunner. I get the following questions as for file_compare(file1, file2, file3):

1. If it is possible to view the codes of this build-in function in Winrunner software.

2. Do I need to use file_open file1,...before I use file_compare(...).

3. Does this function only work for text file? Is it ok with Excel file?

4. What are possible reasons to cause the size of file3 to be 0. ( the compare result is correct and file3.txt is there but size is 0)

Thanks a lot!
Zili
