 hi dear frend,

 i've a report having one record per page. and i want this page to be printed twice, one having "ORIGINAL" and the other having "DUPLICATE" printed on the right corner of the report.

 plz help .

possible it isn't the best...

make a subquery in your SELECT:

SELECT ...

      , ( SELECT 'DUPLICATE'
          FROM   DUAL
          UNION
          SELECT 'ORIGINAL'
          FROM   DUAL ) xy

...

it duplicates your rows
put it last in your ORDER BY, with DESC

make a field with xy source

hi dear brioska

 thanx for ur reply. for me it (the query) u've written just works in the sql like this

  select A.SR_NO,'ORIGINAL' from ACC A,DUAL
   UNION
  select A.SR_NO,'DUPLICATE' from ACC A,DUAL

 but doesnt work in the subquery.
 
can u pls tell me how to write this query in the reports data wizard.

 pls do it with the example
