Where in the world do Tek-Tips members come from?

I am reading documentation from Microsoft Sharepoint Team Services which indicates to me that (and i quote) ...

"The search returns files containing these words, whether they are in the body of the file, in keywords, or in other file properties."

Well, I have put a special "test" word in the keywords property of a MSWORD document and tried searching for it within Sharepoint and it does not find it.

Anyone know why that is ?

Do you get an error message?  Do you have indexing on?

I do not get an error message.  The search just does not find documents based upon entries in the KEYWORDS property of the document.

I am not aware of any means to set INDEXING ON.
