Our company is looking for an in-house solution to a need to share documents.  I am looking into Sharepoint.  It seems perfect.  It does more than we need at the present but I anticipate that the other features could become something we will use also.

It seems almost too good to be true.  Since we already have Frontpage 2002 it appears we already have the software and all we have to do is install and go.

Is it that simple or are there some hidden requirements that I am missing but will run into as we progress ?

Just make sure you have it installed on a Server with Web services and SQL 7

Dont get too fancy at first, try to do everything from within the browser.

OBVIOUSLY aviod creating too many admins.

We are using Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine (MSDE) which we understand is an alternative to SQL7.
