After resetting my Linksys BEFW11S4 Router i've got the following problems:
Only the powercable is now connected, but the WLAN act and WLAN link led's stay on and the Diag led turns on and off over en over again.
Does anybody know how to solve this problem?

tmadna,
hi!try to turn off your PC and  then turn off the router and then turn off the modem as well and then power on the modem first.wait at least a minute and then turn on the router and then turn on your computer. after that try to ping your router via the PC and then see if you can get a reply.if yes thats good.

Hello,
I did the things you told me. some time ago I already did those things and everything worked out fine, but now the diag led keeps going on and off and the WLAN act and link keep burning. Also the link-led of the pcmcia-card keeps going on and off.
Can it be that the Router is crashed?
Thanks

If the router diag light keeps flashing, this usually means the firmware is not loaded correctly.  Try flashing with the latest firmware.

Thanks until now.
But how can I flash any firmware, while there's no connection to the Router
How do I get in touch with the Router to Flash firmware.
Which cables and where do I put them from pc to Router in order to get in touch with the Router and to Flash firmware?

-Try to press the reset for 30 sec then after reset power cycle
-Try to ping the router (ping 192.168.1.1, if you got a reply try to flash the firmware.  You can download the firmware to Linksys.com
-If you can't ping the router, try putting a static IP address on your pc IP = 192.168.1.2-254, subnet = 255.255.255.0, gateway = 192.168.1.1
-If still can't ping the router call Linksys tech 800-326-7114, maybe RMA

If you held the reset button for 30 seconds, and it's still not working there's something wrong.  Time to contact Linksys.
