Looking for a device that will allow my sdlc comm board to communicate to a 3745 via token ring. Any help will be appreciated.

Since we have much experience with token ring and 3745 we are glad to help. However could you be more explicit about your problem? e.g. whar sort of sdlc device would you like to convert to tpoken ring. Is this a pc?, is the device local? What model of 3745 are you using? etc.

you need a bridge. Use source routing, this will handle the frame conversion also.

You need a router... Cisco 26xx maybe.. Run DLSW in the token ring side run SDLC other side and DLSW will sort the translation out for you.. Go to cisco.com and type in SDLC to LLC2 this may help if you havent bottomed it already.
