LOVs whith WHERE clauses reference a form item

How can i do this

select in a LOVs
SELECT ENAME , ID
FROM EMPLOYEES
WHERE COUNTRY = QBE.COUNTRY

QBE.COUNTRY Is a ITEM of the form that references LOVs

confused; are you creating a LOV or trying to use a LOV within Form?

LOVs are created using static or from a table.

from a QBE form you can pick the LOV that you created for each col.

Drobins,

It is possible to achieve this, but it's difficult.

1 Create a PL/SQL function that dynamically creates a view based upon your parameter. Be sure to even create a view when the parameter is empty.
2 Create the first view by executing the function.
3 Create a LOV which uses this view.
4 Build a form which use your input field as a parameter and write javascript code to react to a change in the input field which reloads the page. Write code to execute your function with the parameter before loading the page.

Sounds simple isn't it ?
