Hello - Our Solomon III guru is no longer with the company.  I'm troubleshooting an issue and need to login to user 000 (boss account).  After typing in password I receive the following:   Error 856 - User ID is use elsewhere in system.   I was ble to use our Boss account successfully yesterday and Solomon was open while my PC locked up.  Possibly related?  Anyway, question is .. How do I reset a user account in Solomon III?     Thanks!

I have only used Solomon IV, but maybe this will apply to your system as well.

The system database ACCESS table contains all users logged into Solomon.  When the user logs out, the UserId is removed from the table.  When the user exits Solomon incorrectly (i.e. power loss) the UserID remains in the ACCESS table and blocks you from entering Solomon again.

To correct this, you can delete the row for that UserID from the ACCESS table via SQL.  You might use these statements:
(To identify the bad UserID)
SELECT * FROM ACCESS ORDER BY ACCESSDATE DESC, AccessNbr ASC;
(To delete the row of the bad UserID)
DELETE FROM ACCESS WHERE AccessNbr = (AccessNbr of the bad UserID);
