DRC or Dynamic RAS Connector, config info

I need information on configuring a DRC unit as everytime my laptop tries to dial in the server hangs up on it giving dun error 734: The PPP link control protocol was terminated.

I have tried:
- changing the security settings so that not the problem
- rebuilding the PC
- re-installing Service pack 6 and RAS
- checking the profiles
etc

Unfortunately the only person I know who knows anything about DRCs is not available, please help if you can
