HI
can any one help me to program to page more than one digital extension at a same time in Openscape 4000 V7

I tried with COMGR
only one exnsion is paging from teh group.

I programmed 10 members in a same group but page only one exnsion.

Thanks

How are you paging ?
Is it with the code for Voicecalling VOICECAL ?

Look into setting up a broadcast group and then using broadcast. I have not done this but I know it's there. A phone may need a COS with permission to do it. It is otherwise known as one-way speaker broadcast. If you go into the OS40 HFA Full User's manual it shows you how to kick one off, but it would require prior setup before using.

Dear SBCSU and DONB01

I have added two codes to check
*67 as COMSPK code
when i dial this code it ask for group number
i enter the group number eg 1
this has assigned in SBCSU
only one extension is paging not all the extensions in group

I add another code as broad cast *68
when I enter this code it ask for extension number i dial the extension number its paging one extension
when i dial station group as hunt code with parallel ringing it disconnect with wrong number.

Thanks

Add another code for VOICECAL in WABE
Not sure if it will work (probably not) but worth a try.
I don't think that feature ever worked on the 4K - always worked on the 3K

You also have to have the one-way speaker broadcast attribute set in SDAT or Assistand Basic1 Tab I believe, but like I said, I've never has a need to do it. I started looking it up in manuals the other day but I'm so swamped I really didn't have time to really dig into it. I am under the impression that Broadcast is supposed to send your message to every phone in the system with s speaker. Seems odd it would ask for a station number.... Also look for codes that are named like "one-way speaker call" or something like that... Sorry I don't know more.

Yes, there is a parameter in SDAT - VC
Also you can turn off 'voice call protect' in ACTDA or via the phone.
If it is turned off then the voice call will come out over the speaker

Thanks both of you SBCSU and DONB01

I have actvated the attribut in sdat
spkrcall,comspk and broadcst

added comgroup

deacted the speaker call protect in all handset i mean all the extension of speaker call

tested and only the first extn is paging.

Any advise please

Comgrp is just for intercom, which I believe is one phone at a time.

Broadcast should just do everything. I will have to try to find time to look up the DAR for that after I get my day sorted out.

Dear Donb01
Please update me if it can be resolved.
Thanks

Code:
DARs for broadcast functions

BROADCST

Speaker call - one-way broadcast

COMGRP

COM group call

COMSPK

COM group speaker call - two way

SPKRCALL

Speaker call - one way

Set yourself up a feature code for BROADCST and see if that doesn't resolve your issue. This came out of the WABE section of the HTML section of the AMO manual. I have been saying that since the beginning, but I just had a moment to look it up.

Good luck!

Don't know if you have resolved this yet.
I did not get any time to check it out.
Back in the day I used to hide a speakerphone then connect a Valcom PA speaker across the speaker of the phone.
Set the phone to answer Voice Calls. Setup a code for Voice Calling.
Then test.
