Time profile override 9.1.100.10 4

Hello All

Playing with time profiles overrides.

I cannot get any short codes to work

It works manually via manager but i cannot change it with a system short code.

It half looks like it is working but pulling a new config still shows the original Time profiel status.
Testing this on incomming call routes.

Can anyone replicate ?

This probably sounds ridiculous, but the short codes only works if you start off at R8.1 / R9.0 and upgrade to R9.1 from there.

I did an extensive test on the subject back in January, you may find it worth reading; thread940-1743161

Brain wave this morning.
With the help of Gunnaro post.

Place the Time Profile Name in " " withing the Telephone Number Field of the short code.

without it any e in the Telephone Number Field is replaced with the Extention number. (bangs head off desk)

left out the vital information from monitor

CMExtnEvt: Extn330: ProcessShortCode feature=TPLatchActive id=300m300rg300ncy

becomes

CMExtnEvt: Extn330: ProcessShortCode feature=TPLatchActive id=300m300rg300ncy

Working on a defaulted 9.1.100.10 demmo kit (been upgraded and downgraded lots of times from previous versions)

Daken, you deserve a star for pointing out the importance of quotation marks.

The "Time_Profile_Name" maybe obvious to an experienced tech who has seen "" come and go in previous releases.
But in this particular case it could easily be misinterpreted as one of the four functions quotation marks has in written English; highlight a name.

Even worse, in the reference doc Avaya IP Office Short Code and Button Action, page 83:

You can manually override a time profile.
The override settings allow you to mix timed and manual settings.

Five short codes can be configured.

Set Time Profile Timed Operation.
Set Time Profile Active Until Next Timed Inactive
Set Time Profile Inactive Until Next Timed Active
Set Time Profile Latch Active
Set Time Profile Latch Inactive

Telephone Number: [highlight #FCE94F]Time profile name.[/highlight]
Default Short Code: No.
Programmable Button Control: Yes: Time Profile

They left out the ""....
