I am unable to loin automatically in ASA.
Can login manually just fine.

Trying to run scheduled reports and the error says i need an automatic login.

I can ping the server just fine. I can connect to it just fine.
my login is a dadmin superuser, that should allow all functionality.
my ports are not all used up.

any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

you have programmed asa for auto login correctly as it will prompt you for the password twice and pin number for the newer releases

acss sme acis sme acss cm 5.2.1 acss cm and cmm acss aura messaging.

correct.

The error i receive is:
"Communications error: remote reset
The connection was reset by the host. Ensure that you are still connected to the network, and that the host device is operational, then reconnect"

But again, i connect manually in ASA, ping the server and connect to the CM through the browser.

after you programmed auto login did you save this by hitting the floppy disc on the task bar?

no. but i just did and still received the same error.
Also,
I'm not sure what you mean by programming the login to run as auto, as i only assigned it as auto login through SYSTEM form the top toolbar, then PROPERTIES, and unchecked MANUAL LOGIN, entered in my credentials and selected APPLY.

you did it correct, but do not know why you are getting that error, maybe Avayatier3 may be able to help, he is pretty sharp!

ASA version?
Connection method? network ip and port, modem? ras?
Switch Hardware Platform? Definity/CM software version?

What type report or data do you want to schedule with ASA?

Ahh, Avaytier3. Thanks!

ASA version? - 6.0.07
Connection method? network ip and port, modem? ras? - network ip and port
Switch Hardware Platform? Definity/CM software version? - 02.1.016.4

What type report or data do you want to schedule with ASA:
display capacity
list measurements network-load day
list measurements call-summary

Open ASA
put check mark on Set Target System you want to connect to
click on Connect (does this log you into the SAT?)

acss sme acis sme acss cm 5.2.1 acss cm and cmm acss aura messaging.

that is correct SMOKINJOE2938.

I can connect manually. just not automatically.
All ports are opened and free.

System pulldown, Properties, Login

uncheck the two boxes

Login name: (your logname)
bullet in password: (logname password)
password again: (logname password)
Pin: (if logname is dadmin or a craft2 logname)

no more bullets selected

click Apply

close ASA, open ASA, check properties and see if they were saved when you clicked Apply.

System pulldown, left mouse button on Connect.

i changed the timeout from 0 to 120000.
That allowed me to login automatically.
Scheduled my reports.
Will let you all know if they run.
Thanks!

schedule to run 5 minutes from now
do not close out of ASA
you can drop the connection.

all worked.
it was the timeout setting that was not allowing me to auto login.
once i auto logged in, i was able to run reports.
thanks again everyone
