just wanted to download the old 8.1.69 and saw that there is a new Vm release out.
5 minutes later the admin was there too.

have a good labour day weekend for all North America residents and to all you guys in Europe and the rest of the world, sucks to go to work on Monday. :p

8.0.66 is out too.
Only thing is that the tech bulletins cannot be downloaded.

I don't know what it is but it seems like they are messing around with the site as i am directed to SSO and not to the site where is can login normally.

you should get the TB without login into the site.

website guys probably made a little screwup.
They fix it on Wednesday or Thursday

It fixed my phantom ringing problem on Analog trunks.
 
that is good to know as it is not really documented in the TB 157.

Avaya is great that way

And now it works.
Funny is that yesterday it showed tech bulletin 157 as link and now the full stuff.
So they where actually busy with the site.

they made sure now that Europe can access it too.
seems it pays to live in North America for Avaya stuff :) (Btw we have Labour day tomorrow and don't work, therefore we have to work May 1st when you guys have it)

support site is haunted every month.
UC110 iso
VM Pro 8.1 SP6
Admin 8.1 SP6
All download slower than creeping Jesus. 6 hours later stuck with 3 partial downloads and all downloads could not be completed.
Every. bloody. month.
5Gb pissed up the wall.
/end rant.

Then it will work fine in a few days as per usual.

 
I noticed that the PLDS downloads are fast as lightning compared to the regular downloads.
Regular I got up to 250kb/s and with the PLDS I got to 990 kb/s and with a consistent speed without fluctuations and for all downloads I did.
Might have had to do with the fact that I stumbled over it before a lot of other people did as I saw the vm pro version and the admin was not on the website yet and they added that a few minutes after that. Once has to be lucky sometimes I guess :)

I also have learned the hard way to always do the md5 checksum (regular download) as I had a few files that did not work well.

Use the plds downloads.
When you can't then sign up for it.
The IPOffice downloads will go behind plds completely.

Wherever possible I use PLDS :(
Then move over to direct download a day or so later.
It's frustrating.

 
Plds never let me down :)

I have better luck using Google chrome.
 
Foneman, it does not matter which browser as long as you use PLDS :)
