Changing Password Option 81

Hey All New to nortel an option 81 kinda forced into it via my boss We have recently terminated an employee and my boss is afraid he can log in so he ask me to change login to the pbx. Can some one walk me through step by step thanks all

Go to LD17 and REQ CHG; TYPE PWD

It asks all the things you need to answer.

follow what ghtrout said and if you don't have level 2 then you'll have to open a ticket with Avaya.

it let me change pass word when i first change it said passsword was insecure howeer i do not see any message as of now. I didnt know there was different levels of pass words guess i will do some reading ty

Yea the PASSSWORD INSECURE is just the system telling you that it's a simple password like 1234. It will let you use it but they recomend something a little harder to break should someone try to.
