program the rec digits in the public part of the target line, that set that target line to ring only or appr and ring to both extensions

Yes, and no you don't need to put in 4 times.

When you assign the target you can give it a couple of appearances if you want, handy for taking more than one call at a time like reception.

I think I see we're you going with this so I need to put the did/ddi into a target line then point that to a group with two phones in ?? Is that correct

First question do you use DDI or are you planning on using DDI?

If yes assign the last 3 digits of the main number to the target line 125.

You will find this in telephony---- Lines----Target Lines set last 3 digits

You then assign the Target Line to the extension
If you click on Sets------Active Sets ------ Lines assignment Tab and then assign line 125 or the first target line.

Thanks,
Colin

Colin he needs to make sure first how many digits are being sent
By the provider

Provided it is more than 2 he will be fine the default would be 6 if it was a BT install but the system will still translate the last 3 even if BT are sending in 6. Were he will have an issue is if he was to send out a different DDI from an extension because the system will only allow him to send what he is getting in. But it would be sensible to start BCM Monitor ring a DDI and see how many digits are being presented.

Thanks,
Colin
