Mass voicemail code change moduleHelpful Member!(5)

So, I had a need to setup voicemail codes for a few hundred extensions all at once. Usually a daunting task in manager.
Necessity is the mother of all invention, so I whipped up this module to take care of it for me.

The module requires, of course, vmpro R7+ ( think R7...whichever one started to include the CFG commands)

It'll ask for the start of the range to change, the end of the range to change, and then the code you want to set. It will check each number to make sure it is a valid extension or mailbox. If it is invalid or a huntgroup (doesn't work for HG), it'll skip it and move on. Once it does the last extension it tells you then disconnects.

Very useful when you have a couple hundred virtual mailboxes where users are never in the office but need access asap.

I hope some of you can get some use out of this. I know I did.
Includes the module, and the associated recordings. You'll just need to make a shortcode/icr/whatever to get to it. Also, default passcode to access module is 2346, you can make that whatever, it's in the start point.

dito, very nice and if you make it an FAQ then it can be easier found in the future.

Nice and a star for you.
However you can do this for 6.0 and lower.
Set your option in to free format and you will have the string for the generic actions without the new selectable options.

CFG:SET "$CP1" voicemail_code $CP2

PS voicemail_code is not one of those selectable options ( i found it myself by trying)

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!
