I am having some trouble programming an E1 NSU. Right not i am able to dial and receive call. However when the receiver is picked up all i get is noise on the line. Does anyone have any basic settings for programming the NSU

On the NSU in NA I usually need to invert the voice encoding in the Link Descriptor or I get noise.

Same solution on E1? you tell me.

It is the same thing for E1 or T1, for the voice encoding, you have to put either nil or invert.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.

Guys again i must thank the individuals that contribute to this forum. I was able to get the E1 up and running. Had to make 2 changes.
  1. I changed the link descriptor to inverted on audio and data as suggested by kwbMitel and p011406
  1. I changed voice compression to ADI
Again i must say thanks again. This one is closed
