I have these set up on my contact center, sometimes the operator '0' vdn does not play the announcement to the operator from calls within the property. Could this be related to codecs? I use a 9640 and the whisper never plays when I call the operator... our codecs are configured as follows:

Codec Set: 1

Audio Silence Frames Packet
Codec Suppression Per Pkt Size(ms)
1: G.711MU n 2 20
2: G.729 n 2 20
3: G.723-6.3K n 1 30

CM 5.2.1

We had to have Avaya install a custom Service Pack on our CM 5.2.1 & CM 6 switches for sporadic Whisper announcement issues. The SP sems to have resolved it.

CM 5.2.1: patch 19662 for 02.1.016.4
CM 6: combo 19303 19338

I think Avaya claimed it was either the G860s or the SIP trunks that was causing the problem.
