Hi.

I have been handed an LG-Notel iPECS MFIM 50A, and have been asked to get the individual station voice greetings, messaging system and email notifications to work.

I have set all of the stations up into a group (620), which I believe you must do on this platform.
I thought I had everything else setup correctly.

Does anyone have an LG-Notel iPECS MFIM 50A Administrator and Maintenance Manual?

Or if anyone could help me with the settings that need to be configured so that the individual station voice greeting and messaging systems will work?

I thank you in advance,

Grantsun

station attribute VSF Access should be enabled and the station needs a password in PGM227.

Thanks xs650,
Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it.

I've done that. It says I need to include an * in the password, so I set the password to *103

I'm assuming that is a correctly formatted password.

I'm actually trying to set a flex button to go straight to VM.

But when I type on the station [PGM] + {FLEX} + 66 (which is the Station User VSF Features Access value), I can't get it to go further, and whatever I press, it shows INVALID on the station LCD. If I assign 554 to the same FLEX button, that works fine.

I've been trying to get this sorted for many hours, and I feel like I'm missing a piece of the puzzle.

Thanks, Grantsun

station user VSF feature is another feature.
Example: when you dial 662 the system tells you your phone number, when you dial 663 the system tells you you status.

When you have a VSF group 620 you just can dial 620 or set [PGM] + {FLEX} + 620

Hi,

Reading your post it seems to me like you have added the user extensions into the group 620? This group type should be set to vsf with out any memebers. Once vsf access is enabled for the users, you should be able to dial 620 and be asked for your password. This option can be disabled if you wish in user options with 'vm password check'. To set up a flex key press pgm, flex key, 620xxx where xxx is the extn number and then save. Pressing the key will take you directly to the user mailbox. This also works where you want multiple users to see if there is a message in a specific mailbox, just make xxx the particular mailbox number.

Hope this helps.
