The techs at the Megalink centre at the big telco around here, Hell Canada, always seem to have trouble turning up a PRI circuit. ( I believe they are poorly trained in trouble shooting ) When they have their troubles they always say the problems are with the phone equipment and I should replace the DTI card. (once they figure out what they have misprogrammed they seem to forget that they blamed the phones system). I have never had or heard of a DTI actually failing. Has anyone ever had one crap out? Just curious.

Same here. I've only seen one bad DTI card in over 15 years working with Norstar. I used to wait 15 minutes and then call back to tell the carrier that the card was swapped and I still had the same trouble.

I've actually had more clock cards than DTI cards fail.
