Hope you could help me with a Livelink issue. I am currently using Livelink 9.5 and in 1 of the workflows where there are 5 Evaluation steps - When the last person presses on the approve button, we get an error message - [Cannot determine the task "Evaluation Step 6" performer(s) from the Workflow attribute or Form data] . But there is nobody in Evaluation step 6 and the workflow should go 'back to zone coord for approval' and then complete.

sounds like your routing in the WF is wrong as the WF is ending up on a step you don't want it to, suggest you recheck the evaluate steps config.

The error implies, as your statement also does, that there is no user assigned to the step "Evaluation Step 6", so if as I believe you are describing your WF you have the following :

Step 1 - Evaluate - Step 2 - Evaluate etc

Then you need to look specifically at the Evaluate prior to the "Evaluation Step 6" step to see what it uses to decide on when to take each path defined for it as it seems like its taking the path to "Evaluation Step 6" when you don't want it too.

There were actually 9 Evaluation steps.
When the 9th guy approves he gets an error -[Cannot determine the task "Evaluation Step 10" performer(s) from the Workflow attribute or Form data].
An evaluation step here means the evaluator can either approve or reject. The workflow has been approved throughout.
I have also attached the screenshot as to what should happen when the 9th guy approves - that is if he approves and evaluation step 10 = undefined. Then workflow should go back to zoone coord as all have accepted. If only Evaluation step <> undefind then it should to go evaluation step 10. But this is not working as it should. More than rectifying the problem i want to understand why this is happening.

looks like your first rule is being run rather than any other, suggest you check the WF data against the Expression to ensure that they are correct.

yes... there is nobody in evaluation step 10 in WF form ie the rule if Evaluation Step 10 = undefined should work. I tried creating new workflows to check whether its a general problem but no. With the same rules all the other workflows are getting completed. Its only with this particular workflow. Have you come across such errors before?

Only when the logic is wrong, I'd start buy breaking that logic down into single statements and see what happens then to clarify which of the statements is causing the break.
