Debian console-text caracter Ñ Ç not look

barnarasta (Vendor)
29 Jun 12 12:32
Good evening , DEBIAN 6 2.6.32-5-686
I have the problem that I can not display the characters "Ñ º ª Ç"
initially took days attempting to configure from "local" the application because I do not recognize those characters.
Goglear After several days, today I was advised to rule out a possible problem of recognition from the application testing with "dialog".

After installing "apt-get install dialog", I made the following lines:

Quote (#!/bin/bash DIALOG=${DIALOG=dialog} $DIALOG --title " Esto es una Ñ y esto un Ç " --clear \ --yesno "Prueba de Jose Mª " 10 50 case $? in 0) echo "Yes chosen.";; 1) echo "No chosen.";; 255) echo "ESC pressed.";; esac)

Running it from console salt-text characters, plus the text disappear.
Surprisingly, if I run it from Terminal graphic if it appears correctly.

I tested changing the locale different from
"#dpkg-reconfigure locales"
I put out three in Spanish, (with loggout to take the new values and checking with # locale)
es_ES ISO.8859-1
es_ES @ euro ISO-8859-15
es_ES.UTF-8 UTF-8

and fix the problem, can someone give me a trickle of information to keep looking, or better yet! :),
The solution of the problem?
