Problem connecting Outlook to exchange server

I'm having problems connecting Outlook to my exchange server.

this problems occurs when the users with windows 7 is connected to a network that is connected by VPN to the main network or office where the exchange server is.

The strange thing is that the IP of the exchange server can be pinged.

Any ideas?

Ensure that port 135 or 443 is enabled over the vpn.
