Looking for an Ethernet PCIx or USB to Ethernet with good SCO-UNIX driverHelpful Member!(2)

I have an small hardware from ACER

Reference:
PC = ACER AX3810-U1802 (64 bits)
O/S = SCO UNIX OPEN SERVER REL 5.0.7 (32 bits)
RDBMS = INFORMIX 4.0.X. (32 bits)
USERS = 5

I did try to use the build-in (INTEL) Ethernet Card without success.
I did succesfuly install everything inside this small box (so I save 125% in power)
but, I have not success trying detect any ethernet card into this ACER.

I tried NICS:
BroadCom (gigabits PCIx)
RoseWill PCI-Express (gigabit PCIx)
RoseWill as Realtek - PCI-Express (gigabit PCIx)

So friends, I'll welcome any idea.

AT 5.0.5 level the 3COM 905 (PCI) detected and installed.

This isn't current but there were enough of them made that you should be able to find them in the used market.

IIRC the "C" version gave some problems but the older ones worked well.

I'm sorry, did not say that this box (ACER)
Do not have PCI Slot.
Only PCI-Express PCIx-16

Also is good to say, that running NETCONFIG it
does not report any error during the NIC installation process
but the PING to the gateway is 100% lost.

I have been there before, I did found the BroadCom PCI-x NIC CARD there.

But I will double check.

Thanks.
