Hello,

I am getting an EDI-0130 error - Invalid Conditional Relationship

Segment N1 Seq 6 Element 3

I'm not really great at reading/parsing EDI stuff.  The EDI code is as follows:

N1*ST*CUSTOMER NAME*9*200768769876~
N1*BT*CUSTOMER NAME*9*200768760000~
N1*SU*MYCOMPANY*9~

I'm having trouble deducing which segment, although I'm suspecting it is the DUNS number missing in the SU segment of the N1, I don't understand the sequence number (6)

Is that basically line 6 counting from the top of the document excluding the Envelope information for the ISA etc?

Thx in advance

Depends on your specific translator and business requirements but ...

Your translator probably is X12 rules based and if there is a qualifier in N103, data in N104 is required.

The first occurrnce of the N1 has a N103 qualifier of 9 followed by N104 containing 200768769876

The second N1 segment has a 9 qualifier in N103 followed by N104 containing 200768760000

The third occurrence has a 9 qualifier in N103 but no data in N104.
