I am setting up a new ip office IP500v2 v8.0.18 with 1616i telephones and BM32's. The phones are connected via a POE switch and each phone has only 1 BM32. When I reboot the system, the phone comes back but the BM32 does not work. If I reset just the BM32, it comes back just fine. Any help would be appreciated.

This is a know issue with the BM32's , has been since they were released, I don't think they can be bothered/have the ability to fix it either :)

Not the answer I was hoping for but I do appreciate you replying back to me...

That firmware is not supported on IP Office Bas, could cause other issues :)

What issues?....using it for 4 months now and didn't have any issues.

But the docs say it
Avaya IP Office (IPO) Compatibility
Note that the H.323 1.3100 software is not included in the latest IP Office Service
Pack.
The 1600 Series IP Deskphones are supported on IP Office 4.2 and higher.
IPO 6.0 is the minimum version required for to support the following features:
Graphical displays on the “-I” versions of 1600 Series IP Deskphones
IPO 5.0 is the minimum version required to support the following features:
Call Log, Redial, Contacts, and Text Entry
Please consult the IP Office Technical Bulletin(s) for details on specific IP Office software
compatibility.

Exactly It doesn't say anything about this firmware being supported, it does however say this firmware isnt supported in the first page of the document :)

1.300B and the BM32 1.1.0 solves these issues. We had a 5 month ongoing case with Avaya in 2010 to get these fixes. Not a problem since these firmwares installed.

1616L with 2 BM32's on a none PoE ports and a seaprate PSU.

1.300B has been shipped with R8 and later R7 releases.

It also stops 16xxL phones corrupting on a reboot.
