I recently posted a thread about a BCM 450 backup failure. I'm starting this one since I have more and better info.
I have a customer who has a BCM 400 rel. 4.0
He recently change his login and password at his server for making scheduled backup of his system but kept the network folder and directory path.
Scheduled backup are made everyday of his system.
Since that time, he can no longer make any backup of any type. witch means.
As soon he goes to the backup tab in Administration from Element manager, an error appears: "the server issue a warning message: the device connection has been lost."
So he can't no access backup where he can choose different backup (USB, FTP, computer, Network,etc...even scheduled.)
He has multi-site that he has access from his main office and all of them has the same changes and works perfectly well except for this one.
the way I see it, since the BCM has scheduled back up pre-programmed, Somehow the customer didn't removed the scheduled back up properly and end up lock until the scheduled are removed.
Is there a way I can access by telnet or a different way to remove theses scheduled back up. and starting from scratch?
At least, making any different backup?
I'm going there on site tomorrow if I have access directly from my PC.
