Both our applications that we host on citrix have export to excel capabilities.  Our issues are not only licensing with then having to intall excel on the citrix servers, but then having the user be able to quickly email a spreadsheet (which they can't as we do not setup the mail profiles for them on the server) and saving abilities, as the save as is convuluted and you must save the V drive to get to their local PC to save etc etc.

We have scanners that connect to their local PCs with the COM port, which when they log into the application, the application knows the COM port is now linked to their local PC and not the port on the server.

Is this type of redirection possible for Office applications?
