We had a new customer call and ask if we can service the call pilot and application builder but there previous vender password secured both apps is there any way around this?

Get the customer to call the old vendor and get the password. It is the same for both. Usually this is a pretty painless procedure for them to accomplish.

So you need the 000000 password or you need the windows server login?  If you need to you can reset the 000000 password using distributor passwords.  That will get you into Call Pilot Manager and Application Builder

Janaya, we are completely unfamiliar with this product and need more information on using distributor passwords and what 000000 is.

How can you service the product for the customer if you are unfamiliar with it?

there are certain levels of passwords for the products.  Call Pilot has distributor level passwords that allow you to perform certain functions in Call Pilot.  Changing the admin password (000000 - login) is one of these functions.

These passwords are specific to the release you are running and I'm sorry to tell you, they aren't discussed in this forum.  At best you can search for the instructions to reset in the forum, but you have to have the passwords to complete the process.

I would check the customer's telecom room to see if there is any log of the password, or as stated, you may need to have them call their previous provider and ask for the password.

Without a current PASS subscription you can't call ETAS to get this done.

If you need help, you may look as asking some of your business partners to see if they can reset this for you.

Hope this helps.
