Backup Exec 2010 R3 and IBM TS3100 Tape Library

scott0011 (TechnicalUser)

We just installed a fiber connected TS3100 and BE 2010 R3 on a 2003 R2 server, the backup runs fine.  The problem is when it fills up the tape it does not load the next available tape in the media set automatically, it asks to have another tape loaded.  Anyone run into this issue before?

Thanks,

Scott

Yes - the driver for the TS3100 isn't the right one. I don't have my notes but I think I needed a driver for an ultrium loader to get it to work properly.
