Hi

I need help in scheduling backups for SQL to run hourly, but only until 20:00, then my daily backup runs. This runs for a few hours which has the hourly backups queuing, which sometimes doesn't work to well and ends up hanging. I would thus like my hourly backups to start at 06:00 and the last to run at 21:00 not running on Sundays either when my full backups run.

Any help please.

The NW group resource only allows to shrink the default interval (24:00 hrs).

For your solution you must use a crontab /task scheduler for more variety.
