HI,

Were just testing xendesktop 5.5 at the moment with GPU passthrough.

In A test environment We have a xenserver running
windows 2008 Active directory sevrer (192.168.1.10)
windows 2008 running xendesktop (studio) (192.168.1.11)
Master VM (DHCP)
new VM (DHCP)

We have set up the sites and configured the machines.

All works fine when we access the desktops locally. If we web browse to http://192.168.1.11 it asks us to log in and diverts us to the correct desktop.

However when we try and access the desktops from an external address we get an error 1030.

We have opened up port 80,1494 and 2598 on an external IP and pointed it to the controller (192.168.1.11) (ive even added it to the DMZ as a test)

When we browse to http://externalip  we get the login box and it authenticates the user but when we launch the desktop we get an 1030 error.

The xendesktop site is configured for direct access on http.

Any ideas? am I missing anything silly

Direct is only for INTERNAL, you will need to add an external ALTERNATE route :)
