Hello gentlemen and ladies,
I am installing a "ProtegeVoice" office voice system that programs via serial port with Procomm Plus V4.8 and terminal emulation for a TVI950 video terminal.
To add a mailbox most entries are type it in and go. However to change a mailbox type they want you to press and this is how it shows in the manual <ALT+Y> I assume they want me to press ALT & Y simultaneously obviously this will do nothing in Procomm as it does not transmit the ALT key. I noticed if you go into "doorway" mode it is supposed to send and it does send 00 15 that is was is displayed in the monitor window that I have opened. I have no idea what 00 15 is. The programming manual for the voice mail does know of the ALT key conflict and suggests a solution but Im not sure what they are saying see the following cut and pasted text
