I cannot set date / time using either the date and time form or writedatetime command.

1/ When using date / time form, get the following error message:

generic forms application server: Internal database error

2/ When using the witedatetime command, get "invalid data entered" message.

3/ When syncronising with ntp server, the date time form takes ntp settings when saved but date and time is never update on system or subsequently to handsets.

Whenever I 'internal database error' a reboot will normally fix.

Thanks Bobcheese

Tried that and made no difference. Now I have serious cert errors when tried to web browser as well. Evertything being blocked by IE even when security is dumbed right down. Never had that before.

I had to resort to using Avant so i can get in....I think I have a sick puppy to deal with, And maybe time for rebuild.

have you put 3300 IP in the trusted sites section of IE? Also what version of IE?

DBMS check full might work for set date & time error too.

Have you tried to change it through the group admin tool?

Yep tried admin tool and fails, accept inputted but doesn't update....

In regard to certificate errors, was work fine in trusted sites then decided to go hay-wire one day. Am using IE 8, avoiding going to 9. I have tried adjust everything to dumb it down secuirty settings but IE blocks content. Hence why I went with Avant, still clunky but can at get in and do basic stuff

Did dbms check full, no errors......??!@# So problem is deeper than DB...

I have reported to mitel support and 1st reaction was ooh, not good. So maybe time for rebuild will wait and see.

Thanks again

Have you tried to install the software on the 2nd partition?
That way you will know if it is a corrupt system or a hardware failure.

No Haven't done that but was discussing with MItel support the same idea. They were thinking that I upgrading to sp2 so we can swap between the 2 versions.

Am waiting on there response tomorrow, they wanted to log in remotely first.
