Etherscope and cisco switches

Any one know why this scope will not see nearest switch or switch scan.
I do see them under devices,and can see some info about them there.
Etherscope II version 2.5.10
I do have snmp entered. Address is DHCP.

Just some basic questions;
- Are you on the same IP subnet/VLAN as the switch's ip address
- Verifiy you do have any SNMP or ACL's that would block snmp queries.
- Make sure the Etherscope is not on a mirror or span port

If everything is ok, I would use any snmp polling utility like Microsoft's snmputil to test poll the switch from your PC.
