I have a pix 515E-FO-FE-BUN Version 8.0(4)32 with Device Manager Version 6.1(5)51
I would like to downgrade the IOS to 7.4 what would be the best way to accomplish
this there is no configuration on the pix and what would be the latest PDM or ASA
to go with IOS 7.4.i have been researching on the web some say just downgrade the
pix to version 7.0 others say go back to factory default settings can someone

Provided you aren't using any of the new features you should be able to downgrade this. I don't know how this would be done with the PDM/ASDM though, you might want to open a TAC ticket.

Why would you want to downgrade to version 7 though? Version 8 added a lot of new features to that ancient PIX.
