DL360 G5 - Smartstart does not have "Expand Array" option on the menu

I have two DL360 G5 Servers, both had 2 X 146GB discs (Raid 1) and I needed to expand the array. In server 1 I added two discs, booted to Smart Start, I could see the drives, I had an option to expand array, then extend logical drive - all worked well.

On server two it sees the unused drives but I have no option to expand the array.

Both servers have same Rom Pack, both Array controllers are P4001 with 256K cache and 7.22 Firmware.

All 4 new discs are exactly the same part number as the original 4 discs.

I would be grateful if anyone can help and advise of a reason why the Expand option would not be available on one of the servers?

Thanks

Mick

Do both of them have the battery for the cache, and working?
There are a lot of things you can't do if you don't have BBWC and expansion is one of them.

Many thanks ntinlin, that's cracked it.

Thanks again
