We just upgraded a customers site from an ageing 412 to a new 500v2 on rel7 software. Upgraded their VMPro to 40 ports and installed Contactstore.

So, all is fine, but oddly all the recordings have the first handful of seconds cut off the front of the audio.

Issue - this is the space allocated to place the Recoding Advise, but we always turn that off, but VM Pro still allocates this time to the accounment.

the resolve is in the No_User source number add NO_CALL_RECORDING_ADVICE

Another star for the consideration to post that info PRIOR to another user requesting support on that matter.

As much as I hate to give stars I had to for this one as I can see me needing it in the near future :)

The R7 Beta team didn't know what was causing this, they said it was SIP codec negotiations cutting the first few seconds off, they didn't have an answer as to why I could hear the first few seconds on the handset but the recording didn't....idiots :)
